
Debate table on political stability and reforms
March 10, 2017On March 6, 2017, in the premises of Hotel Tirana International, took place the inauguration ceremony of the association “Albanian Manufacturers Union”, where were invited representatives from state institutions and ambassadors, representatives of the manufacturing entrepreneurship as well as chambers of commerce and industry. Representatives from the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo, the Chamber of Commerce of North-Western Macedonia and the Club of Producers of Kosovo were also invited to this ceremony.
The ceremony was opened with the welcoming speech of the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, who appreciated this initiative as a new moment of prudence in the manufacturing entrepreneurship which is helpful not only to the entrepreneurs engaged in this union, but also to the work of the government and state agencies itself, involved in the process of promoting domestic production. The Prime Minister expressed his willingness of the government to closely interact with the association, through the creation of bridges of contact, as the best way to support and promote Albanian production.
Ms. Donika Mici, vice-president of the association of the Albanian Manufacturers Union, said that this new organization believes that the Albanian business community has extraordinary and untapped potential. The Albanian Manufacturers Union will strongly represent and protect the common interest of Albanian producers, in a daily and correct manner, aiming to contribute to sustainable economic development in the country.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Astrit Shabani, chairman of the Kosovo Producer’s Club, said that this is a special moment for the manufacturing entrepreneurship. The Chairman of the Economic Chamber of North-Western Macedonia Mr. Nebi Hoxha congratulated the creation of this organization in the interest of Albanian producers in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia. The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo Mr. Safet Gërxaliu said that this is not just the establishment of a club of special importance, but also a return to the future as the only way to improve the image of the Albanian nation.
The General Chief Inspector, Mr. Shkëlqim Hajdari, who congratulated the fact that Albanian business in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia is taking concrete steps in establishing cooperation relations.
